On January 30th I bought a 2004 Kia Sedona mini van from Towbin Dodge. Within 10 miles of driving home the "check engine light" came on. Despite the fact they warrantee there used cars/trucks for 90 days or 3000 miles. They said they would fix it and had me there 10 hours waiting for it to be done. But never did anything the light came right back on after 10 miles again.

They also advertise they do 121-point inspection on there used vehicles. The air conditioning in the van didn't work and when charged by my mechanic leaked right back out. This was reported to Towbin Dodge the first week I owned the van and again they refused to correct the problem. They said that they ran a dye test on it for leaks but never did.

When I got tiered of getting the run around I asked if I could just trade the van for another vehicle. They offered to give me wholesale for my van against retail for their car and would charge me $800.in document fees again as well. Talk about screwing their customers.

Frank the General Manager after offering me a refund for the van, brought out a Ford Escort with 150K miles and asked if I would take it in place of my $6000. Van. I turned him down and asked again for the refund.

An hour later Frank returned and told me to leave the dealership or he would call the police. The service department (Curtis) kept the keys to my van and never returned them. Lucky I had an extra set with me that day.

A week later I finally agreed to returning the van and loosing $800.in restock fees. Don Heckenborn (the used car sales manager) refused to give me the refund check after they took the van away until I signed a document saying that I would not hold them liable for any wrong doing. This was an impossible form to understand written by a lawyer and would take one to understand. I waited 7 hours for them to get the refund check ready when I had an appointment to return the van and get the check in advance.

My over all experience with Towbin Dodge was the worst I could have ever imagined. They didnt return phone calls, lied about everything they said and were totally unprofessional. I would never go back there for anything or give them any referals.
