Slow, bad business practice, ripoff Palmetto

It began in February, 02 of 2008 when I paid for a Transmission to be shipped to a body shop and installed on my car. Well, after billing my credit card for $750 immediately it took them two weeks to get the transmission shipped.

After receiving the transmission I not noticed that

1) important ears around the transmission that hold it to the motor where broken.
2) Not only broken but had some that was welded terribly which I was never told any of this.

After speaking with them being that the transmission was protected under a 6 month warranty (suppose to be). So far they have taken over a month just to even consider shipping out a transmission which they have yet to even send to me.

Now after weeks of saying there going to send me one they want to pay for the first one to be shipped back to them, then only then they will start to look for another one. When all they need to do is do a drop -off? Pick -up request with any DHL or other delivery company but they will not consider it.

I hope other people see the many claims filed against this company on this site... I wish I had seen it. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Summary of 'Bad Business' methods:
1) Don't return phone calls
2) Dodge phone calls
3) Do not follow through with product
4) Collect money for item without shipping it our
5) Provided bad product, not as advertised, broke product
6) Delayed replacement (NO REPLACEMENT)
7) Severe lack of customer service and conflict resolution

Speaking with lawyer for potential legal action.
