Pat Canavan Jr Nothing is for free

I have a Ford F150 to sell. I did a favor for someone and got burned and now i am left paying for this truck i am trying to sell. A friend had called one of his friends to help me out who owns Bayshore auto. The owner Pat said i could bring it down to his lot and he would try and sell it for me. I thought how nice. Boy was i wrong. I had only seen the car on his lot maybe the first couple of months after that the truck was no where to be found. My father had spoken to him about it and he said he just keeping moving it back and forth to another lot to sell it. After a few months my father had called Pat several times. He spoke with Pat once or twice pat was supposed to get back to my father about putting new tires on. Never heard from him.

After about a year and several messages. We decided to just go to his lot. Turns out about 6 months prior he had my truck towed to a police impound yard. It had been stuck in the back with a flat tire and dead battery. He never called to let us know what was going on. I found out later that this is what they do to take a vehicle away from someone so they can sell it for their own profit. They wait long enough apply for title through the state, say that they have tried numerous times to contact the owner. The state grants them title and now the truck is theirs. I think that this is an outrage. Something should be done about this crook.
