Greasemonkey Stripped Drain Plug, Poor Service, Recycled oil

Took my car in for an oil change before a nice long trip to southern california from Seattle. What a mistake, its a good thing i actually made it to calif because my car was leaking oil the whole way there. When i arrived i found i had almost no oil in the car due to a stripped drain plug that was screwed in with force "crooked", the guys could not get the plug in straight and let me on my merry way. Wow thats what i call service.

I took my car into a mechanic at my destination and they told me what happened and showed me the plug. I called greasemonkey immediately and told them what happened. I needed to pay for another oil change and was told that they would temporarily plug the drain plug back in but it was by no means fixed. The car continued to leak and a new oil pan is eventually needed at a cost of $300 or so since my pan is aluminum.

The best part was i received a call from a greasemoneky manager stating they would take care of me and to bring in a receipt for the service i just had done. Well i followed through but they never did. I called numerous times and asked simply for a refund of my service with them ($60) and to have the service in calif covered ($75) and we would call it good. I was actually going to let them off the hook for a whole new pan because i just wanted something. Well they never followed through, its a lesson to never use the quick lube places that i had to learn. Never again, only a full blown mechanic will touch my cars for the rest of my time on this earth. Beware of Greasemonkey in ballard, they are not worth anyones hard earned money.
