Lies, Harrassed, called all parties on referrance list, lied more

My husband and I have been using CPS for a few years now, and we have had alot of trouble with these people, but the last few are the worst, and that is where I am going to start. We aren't even 2 months behind, we just got our income tax in, and well lets go back to December, the month of Christmas. They wanted us to pay 3 car payments in one month. A. It was christmas holiday, B. Who has over a thousand dollars to blow on a car note?

Well a few weeks ago, they called people on my referrance list, they called my husbands aunt, and told her that my husbands mom, and dad have disowned us, and they can't get intouch with us, and we are behind on our note, we weren't behind when they called, we had just payed 2 notes in 1 month. We were suppose to pay 3 but we couldn't afford the third one, so we had the bank put a stop to it. They took it anyway, but something happend and they didn't get ahold of the money.

They called my last night, and told me that they been trying to call us for over a month now, they haven't tried to call us, I am home everyday all day long, she then gets an attitude with me, and tells me that she has and my phone must be messed up or something was wrong with my line. I am the wrong person to get an attitude with, so I said back "Or you are lieing and haven't tried to call me, like you guys have lied to my referrance list."

Well she called me back today, and told me if my husband would pay the note today, that our car wouldn't be repoed, I told her that I would have to get him to call her, after he called me from work, she agreed and said she'd wait. Husband called, I told him, he called them back, the lady told him we were added to the repo list, husband asked if he could make a payment today, and she said no they won't be accepting any more of our payments. Husband calls me back, tells me, I call them back, lady says my husband lied to me, and that he asked to pay next month not this month. So now they are play me against my husband.

Isn't there some kind of law on these things?
