Ripoff business from hell victimized many consumers

Cars & Transport

On October 4 I traded in a 1991 Honda Accord ID# 1hgcb766imho73097 because the engine blew after a year not to mention I had many other problems before that time.

I traded it in for a 1996 Ford Taurus with the ID# ifalp5355tg174196 per Extreme Auto's suggestion. However I was given no compensation for the money loss as a matter a fact I was told that I had to pay $600 for another down payment that day.

I had the Ford Taurus for 21/2 months when the transmission went out only after I had paid $500 to get the car out the shop at the ford dealer getting brakes and hose repairs that should have been done prior to car being put on the lot and definitely before selling.
A week later my transmission went ou and I found myself paying towing fee's and being quoted $3,000.00 for a car I've only had for less then 3 months.

Again I received no compensation, no sorry come in and pick out another car or we'll fix it and bill you. Right after I received the car a week later I had an antifreeze leek and right after that I did the first work on the brakes and had to have the calibers replaced. They did fix the hose problem but no compensation again for the other problems I encountered the weeks to follow.

Again I found myself without a car for more then a course of 2 weeks and now I have been without a car for almost a year because the problems that I have encountered with this "business" has set me so far back financially.
I commute every day for work to the next county Elkhart. I live in Mishawaka so for a year I have been inconvenienced and so have my mom. She has come from Elkhart for a little short of a year every morning to pick me up and take me to work and bring me back home after work. Dropping my 2 year old son off at the day care which is also in Elkhart has also been apart of the every day commute.

It boggles my mind that a "business" can get away with taking advantage of people who work hard to keep the things they have and need to make it. At one point I was in jeopardy of losing my job because I couldn't make it to Elkhart to get to work.

Extreme Auto Credit has never looked back and I have even been told that this is on my credit report. Several calls were made to this "business" about the problem.

Since I have had this encounter with this "business" I have learned of many other people who have had some of the same experiences with them and it soothes me to know that I'm not the only one but at the same time it bothers me because I know that they have done it before and will continue to do it until someone speaks up.

I guess that someone should be me...
Please help, please investigate, please make them answer to the skeletons they have put into their closets...

Thank you
