Sold 2 year old ford taurus purchased in Mississippi and was under water transmission gone!

I am on disability after 42 years of teaching. My pension is almost nothing, my husband is out of work and times are awful.

We purchased an 05 Ford Taurus and by 07 we were told the transmission was shot and the repair would be $2500. Foolishly I continue to pay on this deathtrap car because if I give it back I'll never get financed again.

I have begged at least 20 individuals stating that I can't afford payments and this gigantic repair (which shouldn't have happened after 2 years) They are not helpful, quite cruel and we are stuck. This and some other problems (my inability to work) has just broken up a 30 year marriage. I feel like my life is over... A friend has an 04 Ford Taurus purchased at a reputable dealer and has had no problems with it.
Drivetime will sell a car in any condition and should be put down like a sick animal.
