Crescent Bank and Trust ripped me off for over $50 a month for the last 2 years

I am paying an outrageous 24% interest rate. My coupon book says to send $325.25 every month. When I was late paying, I received a notice stating I owed $274.00 plus late fees. The total was $299.35. Now, why have I been paying $325.00, when I should be paying $274.00? The main branch is in New Orleans, and I live in Shreveport, LA. They have a little branch here, and I've had to pay $340.00 to them (money order only) when late. I believe someone (namely Dennis Champion, the local banker here) is pocketing the extra $50.00. This is Louisiana after all, where thieves and con men are commonplace in all businesses here. I mean, it's crazy how they get away with what they do. I know for a fact I'm getting screwed by someone at Crescent Bank, as they are a shady outfit. I've read others have had trouble with them, but what can you do. This state sucks, and I am ready to move. Who can help me? I don't want to lose my car, but I am tired of getting royally screwed by these people. Thanks for listening. DavidShreveport, Louisiana
