Concerns of Auto Loan ripoff

Hi, I read over all the other reports of this same company and got concerned myself.
About a year ago my local bank sold out to Crescent Bank and Trust, and well my auto loan is through them now. What my concern is though is with the hurricane. Now I sent a payment about 2 weeks ago and it has yet to get to any of three offices I guess cause it isn't cashed yet.
I don't know what I should do. If this payment doesn't go though I won't send another cause fear they will say I never sent the other, and well if that one never gets to them or back to me then why send another.
Is This the only area in which Crescent Bank and Trust is? Do I just wait it out? I am concerned that once they do go up and running that I may be in some of these folks situations then.
Any advice will surely be appreciated.
