9 Franklins BMW or Nine Franklins BMW is a fictitious company that offers to sell used BMWs imported directly from Germany at 30% under US retail. After they claim to have found the car you were just looking for, they solicit $2500 to $5000 to hold and ship the car to the states. The goodfaith deposit is wired to Bangkok, Thialand and you will never hear from them again nor will they respond to you once the cash is received.
The Seattle Police have checked the location and there is no showroom or listing on the building directory. There is no listing in the Berlin, Germany phone book either. The Ohio Attorney General could not get them to respond. BMW is looking into the matter because 9 Franklins BMW is representing themselves as selling "Pre-Certified" used cars.
