When I first made my purchase of Busch Excell windshield wipers, the ads stated buy get one free, after a rebate on the second purchase

It also states that purchases be made within 9/20/07-10/17/07, rebate request must be made within 30 days of purchase. To me that alone is false advertisement that is not 30 days. Call it a typographical error if you want, and the deadline for rebate appt. 10/17/07?

I hope I will get my rebate on the wiper blade although I've don't think so, just because of the attitude of the rebate representative. I inquire on a few clarafication of the printing that was'nt to clear, All she kept saying was just do what it say. I was trying tell her I looking with a magnifing glass and still can't make out what it say, it look like an Arabic type lettering. I made copies of my rebate appt. And my proof purchases. My copies printed lot better, I read where it states to circle the amount of purchase on receipt and reopen the envelop to make sure I had done so. Wish me luck! Because some of these rebates are a gamble.
