We purchased a vehicle from JDByrider Driverside window fell / back lights stopped working

We bought a 2000 Ford Focus SE wagon from JDByrider in less than a month of having the vehicle the drivers side window fell and the back lights stopped working. I made an appointment to have the car repaired I was told that my vehicle would be ready by that afternoon.

I called and checked on the vehicle and they informed me that the wiring harness had been fried and that it would need to be replaced that they have ordered the harness and it would be in the next day after doing a little research myself on this vehicle I was surprised to find that the wiring harness had been a recall and that it should be covered because of the recall.

I was told by the service department that my vehicle did not fall into that recall i then showed them the recall that i had copied from the internet they then told me that it was not made on that date so therfore it would not be covered. Mind you when i purchased this vehicle I was informed that there was a two year warranty that came with the vehicle.

I was informed after five days of not having the vehicle that the harness in the back was also burned and that this would need to be replaced as well, needless to say i do not have this vehicle as of today and they said that this is not covered by the warranty and that they have requested payment of this vehicle. They called me and informed of that the vehicle was ready i went to get the vehicle and found that i didnot have any lights still.

When i dropped off the vehicle I had front headlights, backup lights, and now i have no headlights that work at all. I left the vehicle there and call the company to inform them that the vehicle was not repaired and that i would not be making any payments until the vehicle is repaired properly. They have informed us that we are in default and have told us that they are keeping the vehicle and now needless to say i am out of a vehicle and my money that i put for a down payment along with my trade in. This comes to a total of approx. $1500.00 and they have not made good to anything they have said they would.
