Sold me a lemon. Twice!

I purchased a new 2001 Optima in Jan. The following day I noticed annoying wind noise coming from the drivers door. The dealer gave up trying to correct it after two attempts and reffered me to Kia of America. KoA asked that I try another dealership, which I did.

Then another dealership, which I did. After 10 months and at least 9 visits to the various dealerships Kia said, "We give up, we will replace the car for you". Guess what problem exsisted on the replacement car? Yep, the same wind noise. Started all over again. They sent technicians from So. Calif up to work on the car and only succeeded in making the problem worst.

When I told them the car was still making the noises they informed me that I should go to BBB and try working through them for resolution. I think that Kia knows that they have a design issue with the vehicle and there is not an easy fix to correct it, so screw the buyer.

Does this sound like a company that is trying to establish a quality name and reputation? I would tell anybody thinking of buying a Kia product to run away from the car as fast as possible and never look back.
