Cars & Transport

The Great Thorn here, to maybe bring some life saving info to car owners. I, The great Thorn search the internet every day looking for information that will help and inform car buyers nationwide. I also search the internet for car dealer deception.

I have contacted Henry Ford's Great Grandson William C Ford at Ford Motor Company by email to try to inform him of what I feel would be a simple and safe way to clean up what I feel is a big mess with the Ford Crown Victoria's gas tank trouble.

Informing Him of where Mercedes Benz places their gas tanks in their 380 SEL, 420 SEL, 500 SEL, 560 SEL, 350 SL, 450 SL, 500SL and their 560 SL. I wanted him to understand that sometimes other carmakers have better ideas. It seems to me that someone in Dearborn has a wad of peanut butter in his or her ears.

After remembering that I once sold Lincoln's and Mercury's I remembered that the Mercury Grand Marqis and the Ford Crown Victoria both have the same drive line and the same FUEL TANK.

Wanting to make sure that my info is correct, I called Sanderson Lincoln Mercury in Phoenix, AZ I asked to speak to a service advisor. Sanderson's Service advisor told me that both the Crown Victoria and the Mercury are both are on the same undercarriage and that both have the same fuel tank placement.

Now I wonder just how many seasoned citizens have bought a Mercury Grand Marqis? It would be very interesting to find out if Ford Motor Corp has any plans to help all of the Grand Marquis owners with the same plans it has for the Crown Victoria owners.

If what I am told is true about both cars having the same undercarriage and fuel tank placement, I feel that both car owners should get the same treatment as far as gas tank trouble. When I say same components, I mean same engine, same differential, same gas tank and same Frame in which the car is built.

In Phoenix, We all know about police officer Jason and how bad he was burned after his Police car busted into flames after a bad crash. I must say what a Great guy to go keep his head high and holding on so he can continue to be the Great man that he is. I personally hope that nobody has to endure what he has gone through. Jason, I The Great Thorn must say to you, YOU ARE THE MAN!

I am calling this a complaint so we can find out if Ford Has plans to contact Mercury Grand Marqis owners to inform them that they just might have the same trouble that the Ford Crown Victoria owners have been worried about.

If you are a owner of a Mercury Grand Marqis, Please post a rip off report if you have had some trouble with your car. I want Ford Motor Corp to reveal their complete plans on this matter.

Very soon a Picture of a burnt Phoenix Police car will be posted.

If you want to ask Ford Motor Corp what plans they have for the Mercury Grand Marqis owners, Here is Ford's contact info for you.
