The worst treatment I have ever experienced

Rainbow Motor Sales, Where customer service and respect... Really doesn't matter!

I was in the market for a new vehicle. My credit was not the greatest at this time so financing a vehicle was going to be a bit of a challenge. I was new to the Coldwater area and just spending my day off car shopping. I came across Rainbow Motor Sales, a guaranteed finance auto dealer. I thought to myself GREAT! They have some decent vehicles, and I will be able to get financed.

I entered the dealer and inquired on some prices of the vehicles I liked... Way too much! And not by a little, by thousands. I left my information and informed them I am in need of a different car soon, please call me when you get more in. Well the call never came. So I stopped back into the store.

Upon entering the lady who was helping me ran my credit. After she saw my score, (which at that time was horrible due to fraud) she immediately treated me rudely. And not just a salespersons dissapointment, i'm talking full blown rude! For no reason! And here I am wanting to buy a car with a down payment in my wallet. So not only was this lady extremely rude but she just costed herself comission. Congratulations o naive one (not everyone with bad credit is broke) In my wallet I held 2000 dollars for a down payment. I was prepared to pay a higher vehicle price. So I left.

3 weeks later, there was a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 sport. It was yellow with a lift, nice tires, very nice looking truck. I called for the price. Keep in mind the vehicle had over 130,000 miles and some visible damage to it. The price she told me was mindblowing... All I could do was laugh.

I bluebooked and N.A.D. A priced the vehicle myself and expected to pay a little over but not as much as these crooks wanted. Upon my telling her that the price was ridiculous, she began to tell me that since the first time I came into the dealer, I was COCKY, RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, A WASTE OF TIME, I DARKENED THEIR DOORSTEP ETC. I was enraged.

The part that strikes me is that I have heard similar stories from several people. One being a close friend of mine who has excellent credit and is alot older than I am. He was treated just the same. The lady we speak of is the owners daughter! Way to make your dads business look good.

Any business that discriminates you because of your age and or credit score should instantly be reported. So congratulations to yourselves over there at Rainbow. You costed yourself money and a reputation.
