Did Holding up claim

In about the first week of april i was hit on the drivers side by a kid who failed to yield at the sign. Because it was a minor accident (no one was injured) the officer did not do a full police report, he just did a exchange of information. The number the kid provided was bogus, needless to say we contacted his insurance company. His company in turn tried to contact him of which he did not answer the phone and did not accept the certified letters.

I gave a statement to allstate (his company) and went back to the officer who wrote a narrative saying that the other guy was at fault. As you can notice we are in May now and my claim is still being held up. I have no vehicle because the adjuster gave use the estimate and told us to take it to any shop and have it fixed we did and now that it is time to take it out they wont pay, they still keep saying they need to establish liability (contact they're insurer).

So now we've filed a claim with our insurance company meanwhile i still have no car, what really sucks it i only had my car for about a week and a half before the accident. We have spoken to 5 different people who all say they are going to call back but dont, and though we request it all the time we have not heard from a supervisior.

This company are by far one of the underhanded company. My company (state farm) even says that if they couldent get in contact with they're insurer they would just have to go with what they have. If they continue to hold me up i will just have to write a letter as someone has stated. But they shouldent beable to get away with this.
