Mutual Venture Acceptance - Survival Insurance Brokerage
Ripoff, fraudulent, won't give me my refund Woodland Hills, Hollywood

My auto insurance came up for renewal with Survival Insurance Brokerage. They contacted me in Feb. 2007 saying to renew my policy would cost $566.10. I made the down payment with a credit card.

2 weeks later when I got my paperwork I realized the premium was too high so I shopped around and purchased high-quality, customer friendly insurance from a well established company.

My renewal with Survival and Mutual Venture Acceptance and Lincoln Guardian was not effective until April 7. I thought I would have no problem getting my down payment back. I faxed Survival 3 times on March 14th and 2 times on March 22nd, 07 and then followed up with a phone call to customer service. The lady said I would receive a refund in 30 days. It has now been 7 weeks.

Today is May 7th and I received a letter of rescission from Mutual Venture Acceptance stating that the lender will not release my check in payment of my policy. I've received no phone calls or any correspondence from Survival Insurance of any kind.

When I call Survival they are discourteous, unprofessional, and they cut off my sentences before I can finish them. I've been getting the run-a-round from these people for too long. I will contact Mutual Venture Acceptance and see if I can have any luck in getting my down-payment back. Please help me if you can.

These insurance companies have to be stopped. This is not the only report about Survival and Mutual Venture Acceptance. Please help! Thank you!
