My Car was repoed by Americredit in Feb. I got a letter today stating that the car was sold at private auction for 6600.00. After paying on the car for 3 years they say i still owed 15,000.00. I now have a balance due for a little over 9,000.00. Not much less than what i purchased the car for. Anyway, has anyone ever had their wages garnished for the amount owed or is it Americredits practice to show that amount as a charge off on a persons credit report?
