Auto Solutions
Missouri rip-off extended warranty

Cars & Transport

In Feb of this year my husband and I began searching for a different car as he has had three back surgerys and required a vehicle that would allow him comfort and leg room.
We searched the internet for a deal and found a site: "Auto Solutions" and discovered they had a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was pretty much within our budget.

When we discussed the deal, we were told by the young man we dealt with and his employers that anything wrong was under a thirty day warranty would be covered by them, but we still contracted for an extended warranty, to the tune of about $1200.00.

Before the thirty days were up, we had to have about $600.00 worth of work done on the vehicle, because of a stalling problem which turned out to be in the fuel system, added cost for a keyless remote, (because they could not find the other one) a charge of about $50.00 to uncover the whine in a wheel, which we were told by the extended warranty people it would have to be torn down, and if was worn or broken they would cover the cost but if it was not the problem we would be responsible for about four hundred dollars worth of labor.

When I wrote a letter and included copies of all the repairs to the owners of this car lot, he sent me a letter telling me that even though my thirty days were not up they only covered belts and hoses as stated in my paperwork.

What a rip off! We have been had, but I will never allow anyone I know to shop this particular business ever!
