El Camino Tire and Brake - Daniels Tire Service ripoff

I would like to share my experience and hopefully warn other people about the rip off that ALMOST happened to me at El Camino Tire and Brake. My car had less than 10,000 miles on it and needed an oil change only. Oil change was done, but my husband was told that the brakes were shot and would need to be replaced for ONLY $900.00! He immediately took it to several mechanics and the dealership. It was checked thoroughly and lo and behold, the brakes were in excellent condition and there was nothing wrong with the car. We were able to avoid a costly mistake and hopefully others will too.
