RUDE, HUNG UP ON ME, unprofessional Route 414 Ripoff

This garage had a car on his premises for sale, the son told me it belonged to a customer, and he wanted to get it sold. I made an offer on the car, and he assured me he would get back to me, after talking to the owners.
I called the next day asking if he had gotten ahold of them and the father owner of the garage repair shop, answered and said they won't take your offer... And said they haven't called back. They are my customers... I have someone else coming to look at it.
Now this car has sat there for at least a month now. I have tried to contact them on several occasions, by phone and stopping there. They brush me off, rather than be honest.

The last time I called to inquire, he said can you hold on put me on hold, and hung up on me.
Wow, if this is the way they treat people, I would really not want to get my car repaired there. Not very honest. Seems like if he didn't want to sell it he would just say so.

But the rude behavior, and being ignored, makes for beigna bad business person in my book. And today you can't be too careful when it comes to car repairs to begin with.

These people best not ever come up in conversation... They will not get any recommendation from me.
