Absolute ripoff or crappy mechanics

Long story in short form... Had brakes installed in a local gas station. Gave them three times to fix the problem of rear brakes not fully functioning.

Tried JUST BRAKES after dealing with the first brake job for a month. They pulled the wheels apart and claimed just about everything needed changing for appx $500 even though pads were only a month old. I OK'D the work and paid after the work was done. NO change in the stopping ability of the T100 Toyota. Returned and assured the problem was with my month old tires. After a week I pulled the drums off myself to discover the pads from the first job (dated) were still there as was everything else as far as I could see.

Finally went to on 54th Ave and got the problem fixed once and for all. There was a metering device bolted on the rear axle that had frozen solid. Once changed out the rear brakes worked again as they should. Over a thousand dollars spent getting a fifty dollar part replaced.

These guys could have killed my family...
