Four water pumps went on my 1995 Ford Contour installed by Pepboys in a matter of 8 weeks. When the third water pump broke - which they replaced - Pepboys also determined that the problem was a head gasket. Off to the Dealer it went for repair immediately. Less than 2 weeks later the water pump breaks again! Causing engine damage as well. PepBoys refused to accept responsibility for repair of the vehicle other than honoring the warranty for the parts and labor on the water pump. Unfair and Unjust. Dealers cost to repair car $4.
