First Extended Service Corporation
Not willing to honor contract ripoff

Cars & Transport

I purchased 100,000 exclusionary warranty when I purchased my 2002 Honda Accord. I had to have the driver side power window regulator replaced on 3/25 at the dealer where I purchased the car because it stopped working.

I paid for the parts and labor first because it was on a Saturday and First Extended wasn't open at the time. Sent in a claim, but received a letter dated 4/18 stating "non-covered component (Please refer to service agreement).in the future, please follow the terms of the service agreement so that this problem may be avoided. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

I doubled-checked the contract and it states that power window motor and regulator is covered. Sent two additonal letters highlighting a copy of the contract where specified coverage is listed for reimbursement, but were unanswered.

What a ripoff! I will ask my friends and their friends not to buy extended warranty service from First Extended Service Corporation because it is a SCAM.
