Would not honor lifetime warranty on brake pads ripoff

Murray's discount Auto Store, branch location in Arlington Heights, Illinois 60005, would not honor their lifetime warranty on rear brake pads for a Honda Civic. Now, maybe it was the manager or maybe it was poor training on the sales staff. But in either case, it took a phone call to the corporate office to rectify this situation. Only after I went to another store & purchased the new pads with no drama!

If you are from the Arlington Heights area, you might not want to go to this Branch of Murray's Discount Auto Store! Also, paying extra for the lifetime warranty might not be worth the hassle. The Manager is unprofessional, was dressed unprofessionally in street clothes & a poor representative of such a large midwest auto parts company.
