Sabans stranded car rentals what deposit?

We heard about a 2 day special for $160.00 unlimited mileage at Sabans. We we went down there to find out they wanted $350.00 cash bring it back in 2 days and we will get our deposit back.

We took the car up north and on the way the driver side window got stuck when we rolled it down. So we couldn't lock it or keep anything of value in it, plus it was hot in the day and cold at night. We ended up calling Sabans on the second day to inform them we were staying an extra day they said ok but if any longer we would have to give them another deposit. Ok.

The third day we get into town we are on our way home to get our vehicle and return the car. We stop at circle K for a drink and a snack and when we get in the car it is dead, won't start.

We call Sabans to inform them from a pay phone. The man tells us to call the other location we rented it from. We explained being at the pay phine could he call them he agreed to. 45 minutes later a man pulls up in a truck and askes us do you belong to this vehicle we said yes, he opened the trunk and started throughing our stuff out of the car on the ground. We told him we had stuff in the center console and glove compartment the man said you can deal with that at the car lot.
My husband saids to him hey nice cutomer service and the man said Pay your bills, and left us stranded at circle K and our stuff thrown out in the parking lot. We had to call a cab to get home. The next day we went to resolve the matter only to be treated very rudely and told we owed them another $145.00

We reminded him that it didn't exceed the amount we were to be refunded in the first place. He told us we had to talk to the owner the next day. We asked to get our stuff that was left in the car, he said not until we pay. Very rude. We told him of the gentlemans rudness the day prior. He was unconcerned and just as rude. I asked for a copy of the bill. He said we couldn't have one until we paid it. We've called and called top talk to the "owner" but he is never in. Good ridance!
