Ripoff

On 9/7/06 i purchased new tires for 2004 dodge 2500 quadcab diesel truck.in the process of installing the tires on the truck, they damaged the running board the truck.

I witnessed this myself and had a customer witness it also.

After confronting them on the damage the employee became hostile and started swearing at me. I then asked for the manager.

The manager came to see the damage and when i showed it to him. He said that he could not see any damage. He took pictures with a digital camera. I asked him to take a statement from the witness and he would not. I also asked him to write on the reciept that i had damage. He didn't write it on the reciept but on a scrap piece of paper and scribled his name on it.

After calling the main office, they filed a claim with there insurance. After the company had drive out to where i bought them (1 hour drive each way with gave me the estimate and agreed that it was bent from pressure witch cause it to kink and bend), that he didn't feel that the lift did the damage and it was done by the garage and it was done before it was taken to the garage.

And he made this assessment of damage from a digital picture, the same picture that the manager took that could not see any damage.

And then the topper, the claims officer, (mr. Bullington)
said if i had the statement from the witness that they would pay the claim.

Here's a classic case of the big company screws the little guy and gets away with it. I guess the next time someone works on my truck (never sam's club or wallmart again!) I will video tape them and have three witnesses!
