Recommended unnecessary maintenance on vehicle

After having some trouble with the PASSLOCK system on my car, (for which they charged me $90.00 to fix and which, I found out later, I could have fixed myself) they recommended several repairs.

They recommended that I have all the fluids replaced for a 60K servicing, the serpentine belt replaced, and a brake inspection. For the brake fluid, transmission fluid, etc. They brought out "samples" showing that I needed to have the service done.

I thought this odd because I'd just had the 60K servicing done when the car hit 60,000 and it was only at 68,000 when I brought it in. So I took it to the local dealership to have them take a look at it. They found everything in working order and recommended no immediate repairs. All fluids were fine, the serpentine belt was not worn and the brakes were fine.

I would not recommend anyone going to this shop. They say that they do "quality" work and they always are packed with cars. However, they always seem like they are too busy to explain repairs to you and get obstinate when you try to ask them a question. Obviously, they also try to throw in unnecessary work to jack up the price as well. If you want to throw your money away then this is the place, they are definitely shady.
