Brakes Plus
Bad work and overcharged

On02-09-04 had brakes plus install lifetime warranty for ceramic disk brake pads at the time was told a rotor needed replaced and both calipers rebuilt. They were to clean adjust rear brakes and flush brake system.
Less than a week, noticed wheel rims were very hot and went back to brakes plus and told that heat was normal. On 11-18-04 went back to brakes plus was due to brake flutter as I do alot of highway driving and was concerned about safety.

Had brakes checked out and was told I had cracks in brake shoe on drivers side, also said calipers that they rebuilt would have to be replaced with new ones and I would have to pay parts and labor and also told rear shocks (leak) and, transmission neeed to be flushed, serpentine belt was (cracked.) Had lifetime shocks 4-sensatrac shocks installed by brakes plus on 08-21-01

My car is a 1999 Gmc Yukon. Total bill on 02-09-04 was $395.07 Now I was told that they would do the front calipers for $94.50 Loaded calipers (uneven wear) $191.00 Caliper service credit - $83.00 Left front rotor (specs)$80.00 another brake fluid flush (dark)$37.00 rear brakes (close) $40.00 also done by them on 10-04-02. Hardware (mileage?)$19.00 rear shocks (leak)$25.00 Serpentine belt (cracked) $114.00 this I found is way overcharge as I replaced this and that belt was approx$10.00 to $15.00. Transmission flush (dark) $99.00 done at Chevrolet dealer.
All total to have job done again with what they found wrong totals$616.50 what I previously paid on 02-09-04 amount $395.07.

Totaling of 2 bills $1011.57.

I ended up doing the brake job which I was cappable of doing totaled $66.00 2 year warranty on disk brake pads plus new rotor If you can do it yourself don't get ripped off. Have all the bills to prove the work they did.
