Impossible to get a refund for a returned product Ripoff

On September 23 we ordered headrest dvds for a Lincoln Mark LT, with an agreement that they were on consignment and would be paid for when sold. Our accounting office, unaware of this agreement, paid the invoice sent by Invision for the dvd system.

The dvd system was shipped back to Invision when the truck was sold to a customer who did not want that option. We have never been refunded for the returned items.

I personally started calling to collect on this refund (I am unsure if my accounts payable had been making any effort to collect) on March 23. I have spoken to the sale department (David) and there collections department (Tom Harris) and now there accounting department (Stephanie Wyman). I have been told that the process of a refund is a complicated one, that the order has to be written and then sent through the proper channels resting finally with the owner who must sign the check.

I cannot imagine that the most complicated of processes could possibly take this long. I have been told by both tom and Stephanie that they have started this process and are now just waiting.

At a loss as to what to do now to get this refund.
