Does Not Process RMA Refunds

Stay away from CompuDirect! I ordered a video card and 21 computer monitor from CompuDirect in March but canceled the order the following day. Unfortunately, the video card had already shipped via DHL. However, due to the size of the monitor, it was to be drop-ship delivered via truck. Therefore, CompuDirect was able to stop the delivery of the monitor. I returned the video card using the RMA number provided by CompuDirect (RMA 846RE), but never received my refund.

I called in July to inquire as to why my refund was not received. Now, CompuDirect claimed that they had indeed shipped the computer monitor and it had to be returned before the RMA would be processed. Over the next two months, I requested a copy of the shipping bill and signature of the person who received deliver of the computer monitor. CompuDirect could not produce either.in October CompuDirect confirmed that their shipping department had never shipped the monitor and my refund would be processed. However, still no refund was received.

In October CompuDirect told me that the delay was due to a limitation in their RMA system. The system was not designed for a situation where a product had never been shipped. CompuDirect said that it would have required manually processing' and would take care if it right away'.in December of CompuDirect informed that the RMA issue had been resolved that the refund was forthcoming. However, still no refund was received.

In January and February of I was told that everything had been processed and Accounting would issue a credit to my charge card any day now'. My repeated requests to speak with the Accounting department directly were denied.in March, I was taken by complete surprised when CompuDirect informed that this RMA was in the same state it was in April pending and waiting for the return of the computer monitor. CompuDirect has no record of our prior monthly discussions and the RMA was never processed.

I've called CompuDirect every month for over a year, worked with them to resolve this, was giving progress reports and told that the my refund was forthcoming. Now, CompuDirect tells me that I never called and that they never said what they said. I don't understand since most companies maintains customer support call logs, status/notes on RMA tickets, notes on the customer's account and there are management call center reports, problem escalation reports, etc. Bottom line is that they won't issue my refund and won't provide any proof that the computer monitor was shipped; no shipping bill and no delivery signature.

Now I have to filing complaints with BBB, Visa and Attorney General.
