Scripps Ranch ripoff Tried to sell me a $917 brake job that was not needed

I went to the Big O Tires in Scripps Ranch for an oil change and rotation. I was told by "Keith" that I needed a $917 brake job. He said that a caliper was "frozen" on my left tire resulting in major damage. I asked for a second opinion, and he offered "the guy next door" to look at it. He quickly agreed with Keith, I needed the brake job. I left and took my car to my own mechanic and NO WORK was needed. The brakes were in perfect order. It turns out the "the guy next door" is a part of the Big O Tire franchise! What a rip off! DO NOT go there. They can not be trusted. Oh and by the way when they called me from Big O after I filed a BBB claim, they said this has been happening "a little too much" with this guy Keith. Are they kidding? A little too much???
