Expert Tire
Tried to charge me a over $700.00 for a brake job. I went somewhere else and got it done for $200.00

I recently went to Expert Tire to get my brakes done. My brakes were totally gone and they tried to take advantage of me by charging me for a bunch of things that I didn't need fixed. They told me that I needed both front brake pads, rotors and calipers and as a package they also clean out the rear brakes for free... All for a bit over $700.00 I asked how much it woud be without all the extra things that I didn't need and it would have been about $20.00 MORE than the origional estimate for them to do LESS as if the first estimate wasn't rediculous already. I told them that price seemed pretty high for just 3 things concidering that I have had my whole brake system at Muffler and Brake done from front to back. Brake shoes, pads rodors. Etc. For less than that price! I then decided to take the chance driving with brakes I could hardly stop with to go somewhere else to find out that I didn't evan need the calipers either. He just tightened up a hose and fixed the leak and only charged around $200.00 to do the brake pads and rodors. He saved me about $400.00. Expert Tire didn't get the chance to rip me off cause I chose to go somewhere else but they sure tried so I wanted to post this to warn people to be really careful if they still choose to go there.
