Ripoff, Rush to run credit, use B.S. Financing to try and get custome

I recently visted Laurel Auto Exchange on a whim, after riding down Route 1 in Laurel. The car lot is not very eye appealing but I figured I would stop anyway. The gentleman/sales rep that greeted me, seemed to be a "FAST talker" from the start but I figured I would at least converse with him.

I told him the car that caught my interest and that I was looking to trade in my current vehicle. He explained that the navigation on the vehicle was not working, and several others had liked the car, but decided not to purchase do to the navigation system, or because their credit was not good enough. He stated Acura wanted $2500 to fix the navigation system, and they did not want to pay that much to fix it, so they were letting it go, as is.

I filled out my credit application. He kept asking me b.S. Questions about my income etc. Like I was making things up, when I verified proof, he looked surprised. All the while making me very uncomfortable, finally he came back, said approval was granted, but they wanted a HIGH downpayment, and then he goes to say, he WILL NOT use my car as a trade in.

He goes on to say, I should let my car get repo'd because I am upset down in my payments and then buy another car, he even offered to sell me a car once I let LET mine get repo'd. I was outraged! I told him, I did not appreciate the advice, regardless of the persons personel credit history, a repo would only make it worse, I thanked him for his time, remained professional and walked out.

Please never, ever, go to this mom and pop small change auto dealer, they are a get over, and only want to run your credit like most dealers to try and get you. Beware!
