Ripoff. Pep Boys did blew up the engine of my GMC Truck Las Vegas

I got my GMC vehicle to Pep Boys within Vegas in April. They mentioned it required an intake manifold gasket alternative; which may charge $360.00, rather than the initial estimation of fix of $125.00. After having it to get a few days (that was suppose to be achieved that same-day) and numerous telephone calls for this shop without any reaction; I eventually got my vehicle house. Within significantly less than per week my vehicle was overheating and preventing in the centre of the street.

it had been towed back again to Pep Boys. It remained there a later date without any phone from anybody. I named numerous occasions, and was usually set on store, after which ultimately hungup on. The main reason my vehicle had died in the centre of the street, was simply because they never transformed the gas once they mounted the gasket. The end result was a lost motor. I spoke towards the supervisor, and he accepted his team had overlooked to complete the oil-change. He mentioned he'd return to corporate concerning the standing of my situation.

After repeated calls, he ultimately informs me (per month a half later), they'd provide me 50% of the fix price, and spend me $600.00 towards the alternative of my motor, that will be believed at over $2,500.00. I stated it was not appropriate; and that I have now been battling together since. I will have a little states suit pending in July. Avoid Pep Boys. They don't worry about you or your automobile. All-they all searching for would be to "tear you down"!!!
