Claiming I am the cause for my air conditioner not working

I have a 2005 Honda Accord with 40,000 miles on it. I baby my car and get all required maintenance according to the manufactory guidelines. I was driving on the highway with my air on, when all of a sudden it started to blow warm air. I took it into Showcase Honda. I've bought my car there and have had all maintenance done there too. I spoke with a Ric Bakutis, assistant service manager. I explained what happened with my air condition.

I waited for the report in there showroom. Mr. Bakutis came back to tell me that a rock had cracked the condenser. It would be $600 to fix it. I asked him about my warranty. He said no it was out of warranty. It was barely out of warranty. I asked him if he could work with me and possible help me out, maybe pay for half and such. No, he was willing to do that. I have extended warranty I told him. No, they won't cover this he said. He did say that my auto insurance usually will cover this. After doing some research, I've found out all this is untrue. First, he should of been willing to work with me.

Second, I checked my extended warranty contract and it does not mentioned any where about NOT covering cracked condenser.in fact it says it will cover normal wear and tear.

Third, I have a mechanic friend had he does not this that a rock cracked my condenser. Plus to add insult to injury, they said it was going to cost $95 to even look at the car, but ended up costing $109. What a RIP OFF! Now mind you, I have not spoken to the extended warranty people yet, but plan to first thing in the morning.

In addition, my friend has not actually looked at my car, but he will tomorrow. Plus I need to get a second opinion with an independent Honda shop. What frustrates me is that I was treated like a nobody. Like this was my first time there. They claim to be down to earth and treat you like family. What a joke. They acted has if this was my first time in there showroom. They have not heard the last of me. I plan on moving forward with this to prove them wrong about there diagnostic. I will keep you posted.
