Fifth Third Bank Leasing Department - ripoff Promised to refund overpayment Found ever excuse not to make refund

We leased our truck from Fifth Third in July. My payment was due on the first of every month. I was never late on a payment. We dedided to trade our truck in September. I had already mailed the payment for October when we traded. We were told when they sent the payoff amount that the payoff included the payment for October. When I told them my payment was already in the mail, they said it would be refunded. This is February and still no refund. I have contacted them over a dozen times and every time it is a new excuse. Their customer service people get very rude as do their managers. I have to wonder how these people get their jobs with some of the stupid things they have told me. When I told them my check was for the October payment, the manager said no it was for September because it was dated September 26. I tried to get through to him that if I hadn't mailed the check in September, it would have been late. That was just one of their excuses. I could go on and on. These people need to be stoppped and not be allowed to screw over the little guys. We are the reason that they have gotten where they are. No wonder they got so big after screwing over all these people.
