Hendrix Motor Company
Falsly claiming problems to my car rip-off

Cars & Transport

I had some troubles with my car last week as it wasn't starting correctly. I had AAA come to take a look and they ended up towing it in. I should have known not to take it to Hendrix as they are not an AAA approved shop, but a friend of mine had said they had repaired his car before, and didn't have any problems. So I took it there, and got a call about 20 minutes later saying that I needed a fuel pump. $920. I called a friend who is a mechanic and he said he could do it for considerably less. (Closer to $500). I had the car towed, and got a call from my friend who told me that the fuel pump was fine, and just needed a little work to the ignition ($300).

I'm glad I didn't fall for the tricks these guys play.
