White Settlement bad unhonest service

I am a aspiring shadetree mechanic. I had a problem with my 93 s10. It would die unless you would tap the gas and max out about 12 pumping the gas. I tried and tried to figure out what was wrong with it and couldnt. I thought it may be the fuel pump there was a little fuel coming out when cranked but didnt know if it was enough. So i decieded to go to the closest place i could take it to. Guarenteed auto. I told The owner/worker Russell that i just wanted to see what was wrong with it for him to a diagnostics i would fix it thats all i wanted. He agreed and about 4 hours later called me to tell me the fuel pump was out and it would cost me 300.00 to change and the injectors needed cleaning it came out to 937.24.

I thought that was rediculous in my mind but told him like i told him before i would do it i would pay him the agreed 70 dollars for the diagnostic test. He said your not gunna let me fix it and then got real smartelicly and finally hung up on me. When i arrived to the shop i paid his wife and asked where my car was it was right beside the road with the keys in the ignition and turned to the on position. I just left my friend pushed me with his truck home. I got home turned the key on and there was no fuel pump sound. Which there was before. I cranked it no fuel at all coming through the throttle body which there was a little before. We checked the fuse box and he had taken the fuel pump fuse out. I was very dissapointed with that dishonest behavior i changed the fuel pump and never had a problem since.
