Dishonest mechanic trying to sell $2000 of unnecesary repairs Ripoff

Unless you enjoy being ripped off, avoid Toyota of Watertown and Lexus of Watertown like the plague.

I Brought my Lexus RX300 to Lexus of Watertown (same company as Toyota of Watertown) with strange rattling noise coming from the muffler. Car was just out of warrantee. The mechanic gave me a written quote telling me I needed a $2000 repair to replace half the exhaust system. I decided to get a second opinion but the guy still charged me $150 for having a look at the car. I brought the car to Monro Auto Service. Guy tests the exhaust system, puts my car it on a lift, fixes a loose clip and charges me nothing (I tried to insist on paying but he refused). Just to make sure, I bring the car to Herb Chambers for a 3rd opinion. Nothing was wrong. Had the car for last 3 years with no problem. The Toyota-Certified mechanic at Lexus of Watertown either didn't know what he was doing or was just trying to rip me off.
