Instead of paying $348 a month, which is what I agreed to. My payments are double at $698 a month. That makes the cost to $51,000 for a $21,000 truck. And I don't know how it happened. And no one will assist me

A salesman at BOSS dodge of Ridgewood, Queens, dealership has perpetrated a grievous fraud to my family and me. I need help and assistance. I have called the dealership many times; I have even gone to the dealership. Every time I have gone down there, I have been blown off and told we'll call you tomorrow.

It is getting to the point were I may have to seek legal action. But before that comes to pass I am trying to use other avenues to resolve this situation.

He is my story in a nutshell. My wife and I bought a 2005 dodge truck from BOSS Dodge in Ridgewood, (Queens) New York. When looking on the lot and talking with the salesmen, Fred and Jason, It was made very clear that the most I could afford was around $300.00 a month. My wife and I were going to leave and it was only because Jason said that he could put us in that truck for $300.00 a month and that is why we stay longer to listen to what he had to say. Jason made a lot of promises. But when he went into the office and came back, he said that the best he could do for us was $348.00 a month.

My wife and I talked it over and told Jason that was a little steep. Jason said he would throw in a cap for the pickup truck. My wife and I agreed to this. Now, after I got home, there was no bill of sale in the folder. I called the dealership the next day and was given a run around story and told to call back the next day.

Then when I received a bill from Chrysler Financial it said that that payment was $696 and change. I called the dealership and was told that, that was a double payment, for April and May.

Then, when calling Chrysler Financial they said that my payments were $696.00 a month for 72 months. They said the current total cost was over $50,000.00. And I said to them how can that be. The truck sticker price was only $22,000.00. That is more than 100% in finance costs. I said that is not what I agreed to; there has been a mistake somewhere. I called the dealership many times and each time my wife and I get no assistance from anyone. They would say that the person I need to talk is off, or is on vacation.

This May sound strange but this has been going on for over a month with just being blown off time and time again from the staff at this dealership. Here is a list of the people and the response I get. Fred (he was the first salesman I spoke with before Jason took over the sale). He's been on vacation since April 12. Jason's been in the hospital. Vinny say that things are busy and will get back to me tomorrow.

Steve told us to write them a letter to explain the situation, which my wife and I did. I got the same again we will call you tomorrow. And again no return call, no assistance. This time when I called back I got the owners away for the weekend then after the weekend I got the owner is busy right now with end of the month business. I do not know why that this person, Jason, did this to my family and me. All I am trying to do is get things right again. Please help me if you can.
