Ken Chancy Suzuki Of Jacksonville
Questionable sales ethics ripoff

Cars & Transport

On 2-22-05 I answered an ad in the Florids Times Union for a Chev. S-10 pickup that stated "must sell" with a number. I called expecting a private party but instead got Ken Chancy Suzuki. I talked with a James Jones that gave me information on the vehicle and the address.

I arrived at the dealer and asked for James, instead a Tommy waited on me. I found the truck and was looking it over when Tommy came to me and told me that the truck was not yet ready for sale, that they were waiting for the title to be returned. He also told me that the ad should not have been in the paper. He told me to call back in a couple days which I did.

On thurs, 2-24-05 he again told me that the truck was not ready to sell. I should add here that he told me several times he would call regarding the truck but never did. On Sat. 2-26-05 I again called and talked with Tommy. He told me the truck was in service getting preped but that it still was not for sale. I asked him if I could stop and make a pending down payment on the truck, so that when it was ready I could buy it. He told me that he couldn't take a payment that way. I never heard from him again even though he said he would put some numbers together and get back to me (never did).

Today, Mon. 2-28-05 I called again and this time asked to speed to James, the original fellow I talked to. He told me the truck was sold. I became upset and told him that I originally talked to him, and he remembered. He also then told me that someone else had put a deposit on the truck and that it seemed that someone got a special deal. I am sure that if the paperwork were looked at that it would show that something was already finalized and that I was just getting the run-around.
