My girlfriend took her Ford Explorer to store #341 on Roswell Road in Atlanta because she noticed her brakes were acting up near the huge sign advertising JBrakes.

The mechanic looked over her brakes and told her she needed new front and rear brakes repaired including calipers, rotors, etc. The price would be approx. $1000!!! They basically took advantage of someone who trusted them and knew she wasn't very knowledgable about brakes. She did know her brakes had been repaired and overhauled by the dealership less than two years ago. She told the mechanic that she was selling or trading her car in the next few months and didn't want her brakes overhauled. Just the essential service to keep the vehicle in good driving condition. This would cost her about $600 they told her. She came back the next day and they told her the Master cylinder was not functioning!
