Just Brakes
Ripoff Just Brakes told me I needed $770 worth of work —luckily I did not sign and I found out I only needed $150.00 worth of work!

Just Brakes is ripping people off left and right! My van's brakes have been squeaking for awhile and I was getting concerned. My husband is out of town on deployment with the Coast Guard and I have two small children that I am driving around town.

I took the vehicle to Just Brakes at Largo Mall. They heavily advertise on the radio that they do brakes for $99.88. After about 10 minutes of waiting, they took me over to the van and showed me the supposed repairs necessary to the tune of $771.00!! They told me "you have not had rear brakes for some time." I was scared to death! How can I be carrying a 2 year old and an eight month old around with no brakes!

Thank God my Mom was with me and she called a mechanic that worked on her car years ago. As soon as she told him we were at Just Brakes he said, "Let me guess, they are going to charge you $700.00." He told us to get the hell out of there! Upon inspection of my vehicle he told me the rear brakes look new!!! The only thing my van needed was $150.00 of work to the front brakes!!!
Thank goodness I did not sign anything! I want everyone to know about this so no one else gets ripped off!!!
