Ripoff, stalling, dishonest, poor quality, dangerous, deadly, unsafe, worthless, undeployed airbags

On May 5 while driving on Route 30 in Pennsylvania around the town of Irwin while traveling about 40 mph my car shut off. All of my dummy lights came on, my RPM's dropped completely and I began losing speed. I attempted to turn the car onto the shoulder however my steering was so tight it was all I could do. I had never experienced a lack of power steering before and being that I am less than 100 pounds this was close to impossible.

I successfully put the car in a safe location away from traffic and shut the car off. I turned the key and the car started again. I drove it directly back to Greensburg missing my interview and to the Ford Dealership where it was looked at.

One month later on June 3 I left for work at 8:00 in the morning. At 8:30 while traveling on slightly wet roads with traffic down the Pennsylvania Turnpike I experienced the same instance as before. My dummy lights were all lit and my RPM's dropped. I realized at that moment that there were Jersey walls on either side of me with no shoulder and without power steering I was unable to control the car once again. It was Tuesday morning rush hour and I knew that as my car started to lose power it would stop and a huge accident would occur as traffic hit me.

At that moment the road was turning slightly, I tried to turn into the right lane but without steering or acceleration the car hit the jersey wall at at least 50 MPH. The car was completely totaled. The next thing I remember was a man at my window trying to break it. I was able to unlock the car. He wrapped my neck to keep it still and provided me with a rain coat to keep myself slightly dry from the drizzle that had started. There were two cars behind me that are witnesses on the police report stating that I was driving fine, I was going with traffic at 55 and the car suddenly hit the wall. The state trooper at my scene had been clocking people less than half a mile down the road and I had not been speeding.

The car was deemed a total loss, I was paid the value of the car (which was of course far less then what I owed as I had originally bought the car, with all options, for 17,000). I am still undergoing medical treatment for my back, I no longer have any desire to drive I am actually petrified of it. When I made an attempt to settle without going to court they gave me the run around.

I want to take it to the media. I have numerous entertainment industry connections and I know some well known people who will speak out against the cars. I'm looking for other people in a similar situation who would like to get the word out.

I'd also like to find a lawyer for my own personal lawsuit. I'm currently talking with 2different law firms however one is in a major city quite a ways away. I have not signed with any firm or attorney just yet.
