I have recently discarded my 2000 Ford Focus Wagon. I bought it for $19,000 including interest and taxes and sold it for the grand total of $600.00. The car was a disaster and so is the company and its employees. They should all feel ashamed of what they have perpetrated on the car buying public nad every decent person who ever relied on Ford for their transportation and had the experience I had with their car. I have never felt so totally raped and ripped off as I have been with Ford Motor.

During my four years of ownership, the car was recalled five times, defective fuel guages and all other sorts of mechanical and wiring problems. The car would incessantly stall which was because of a defective fuel pump that they never recalled until the fourth year. I must have stalled at least twenty times on all my trips during the third year of use, stopping and restarting the ignition at intersections and red lights until I finally arrived to where I was going.

The transmission started spinning with about 45,000 miles and finally would just stick in first and violently jump out of first at about 55,000 miles. I was told that I needed a new transmission at 65,000 miles.
Can you imagine? I managed to squeeze another 15,000 herky jerky, stalling and stopping miles until I finally said, F—K IT!

When I complained to the dealer about the recalls and problems, the Service Manager, if you could call him that, said that the joke around the shop about the car was that it should be called a FORD F-CKED-US! And not a FORD FOCUS. The following year Ford offered the vehicle with a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Is that an admission of guilt or what?
I would like to hear from other 2000 Focus owners to see if we can maybe organize a national one day protest with signs that read DON'T LET FORD FU-K-US with A FORD FOCUS. Maybe if we all just stand in front of the dealershits, oops, dealerships with a sign and tell our story to the incoming hapless consumers looking to buy a Ford, the Company might get the message and we might hurt them in their pockets just like they hurt us. FORD FU-K US victims, let me hear from you so that we can get something started against those corporate bastards.

Maybe we could put enough money together to run a full page ad in a national publication like USA Today or something that normal p[eople who expect normal cars read every day. To complaint I say thank you for giving us a forum so that this might not happen to other people.
