Double Credit Payment Refund Promised Three Times, Never Paid

In July I accidentally paid my credit bill twice. I noticed this and contacted the credit department on August 7th. I was told I would receive my overpayment in 17 days. In 17 days, no payment was received.

I contacted the credit department on Sept. 10 and was told I would receive my payment on Sept. 30. No payment was received. I contacted the department on Oct. 2 and was told the payment would be deposited directly into my account on Oct. 23. No payment. I contacted the credit department again on Oct. 23, and now I have to provide proof that I have not received my overpayment. What can be done about this situation?
