Bloomex - make sure you order with your VISA card

One week before Mothers Day, this year, I ordered flowers and a gift to be sent to my mother. I confirmed that there was plenty of time to have them delivered before the BIG DAY. I even had them sent two days prior just to make sure they made it. Guess what... Mothers Day comes and goes and no flowers are delivered. When I contact Bloomex they tell me, SEVERAL TIMES, that they will have to contact the "contractor" and get back to me within 24 hours. Four times this was promised to me and none of the times did they get back to me. I had made the purchase with my VISA card so I contacted VISA to see if there was anything that I could do about this. They asked if I had an invoice from Bloomex, which I did. Because I could prove there had been an obligation on Bloomex's part and they had not delivered, VISA withdrew the funds from Bloomex and placed a credit back to my VISA card for the full amount. Thank you VISA. So my advice... First, don't use Bloomex... Second... If you do, use your VISA card so that you can get your money back. It goes without saying that I will not use Bloomex again
