I went online to look for a car. Autos direct in Brookpark, ohio had a car I was interested inI had my dealings with Julie Turner. She gave me that sales pitch, a lot of people are interested in that car, and she would need $500.00 deposit to hold it. I asked her what happens to my deposit if I don't like the car? She told me my credit card would. Be refunded in 72 hrs. Drove 1 1/2 hrs to test drive car. Complete lemon. I went back into office gave her keys and her plate. She goes, well? I said I'm not interested. I said what about my deposit. She says we have plenty of other cars. I said no thanks. Again when will I get my deposit? She says no return on deposit. I stood their flabbergasted. I. Said you told me on phone I would get my deposit back in 72 hrs. I should have been aware when I read all the bad reports on autosdirect and all the people they shafted. I am a 63 yr old disabled Vietnam combat vet. I live on a fixed income. Fifty dollars is a lot of money to me alone being ripped off for $500.00. I never signed any contracts or any paper work for that matter. I would very much like to see a class action suit, and any and all means to expose their deceptive practices.
