AES MODULES Scam Artist, Cons, Ripff offs, Non Ethical

Cars & Transport

I will start off saying this they act professional at first and their website seems legit. These people are pathetic they are professional scam artist and will take you for anything they can so if you are wise look to other sources I highly don't trust the internet for anymore send your money first type services. I will also say this the BBB doesn't accredit them they merly have fixed 300 cases on them by refunding half or less money to each person they have scammed!

Here is my story I own a 2000 Lincoln Ls needed my computer rebuilt very hard to find anyone local who does this so I figured id save some money and since this company seems like professionals from their website only!!! I decided to call them. All that was wrong was I had some misfires and my mechanic told me the computer needed replaced or rebuilt. Keep in mind my car was running everything was perfect except a few misfires that all other possible reasons for misfires were checked so all that was left was the ecm/computer.

I paid this company $183 they told me to send the computer after i paid. I was suppose to only be paying like $89 for the bench test fee then an additional $100 for the rebuild if done. Well like the day after they received it they called me and told me the brain box was bad and that they couldn't get into the programming mode well I found this strange because all mechanics before them did just fine as well as all computers that were previously hooked to the OBD2.

They kept saying I had a 01 Lincoln Ls which I told them numerous times it was a 00 LS. He then said well I can probably do something because I told the tech it was a 01 ls he said he would call me back after he talked to the tech and they would try other avenues. He never called back! A few days later I got my ecm back in the mail and it came with paperwork saying I have a lifetime warranty and the ecm was fixed. So I got it installed and nothing! The ecm was dead no power to it!

I kept thinking maybe it was something else so had multiple people try everything possible as well as paying a locksmith to come and try to program the PATS which was impossible to do because the ECM wouldn't communicate with the BCM / OBD2 port. This was strange because before the ECM communicated fine well I call the company back they gave me a big run around! I did however get my rebuild fee back after I wrote a report with BBB! They kept my $89. I will say this all I had to do to fix my car was waste the$100 with the locksmith then go to a junkyard and buy a ecm for $85!

I then paid a guy $100 to reset the parameters sorta like flashing but quicker you do use a flash tool and fords website to do this though. I still ended up spending $400 for something I could of save more than $300 on by just flashing the ecm without sending it off! I wll say this as well from the way it seems they get parts sent in that people believe are bad such as computers they probably flash them which takes 5 mins then they send you back a totally different computer that is broke and probably sell your computer to someone who needs one.

If you do your research they also own like 5 other companies and sell engines and transmissions etc... You will also see they rip some people off out of $6k. Becareful if you need a car computer call your junkyard then flash it!!! Save you mental health as well as some money and stay away from these losers! I am just glad I didn't get suckered out of alot more from them! Stay away from aesmodules!!
